Dalano Barnes
Born and raised in Cornwall, Dalano Barnes is a filmmaker and writer. After experimenting with animated short films, he went on to write and direct his first live action short film The Man Behind the Machine (2023), which won several awards. Dalano is now in pre-production with our first feature film Amongst Crows.
Lydia Helen Francis
Lydia Helen is an actor and film maker with over 15 years in the film
industry. She started acting professionally at age 11 and transitioned
into film making in her late teens. Lydia attended Falmouth College of
Art and Edinburgh University where she studied photography, making
several documentaries and short films.
'The Bucca' is one of several short and feature length scripts based around
Cornish folklore written by Lydia.
